What is Confirmation?
Well, in a nutshell, in the United Methodist Church itís a period of time where teenagers learn what it means to live out the vows taken on their behalf by their parents at their baptism. Every church does it a little differently. At Rosemount UMC we have a two year ministry (8th & 9th grade). In a United Methodist context we will explore core doctrines of the Christian faith in practical, applicable, and relevant ways. As we do so, you will be challenged in your faith, as you freely explore it in the context of the world in which you live. This is not about us telling you what you believe, but about you further discovering and articulating what you believe. We believe you will find this two year journey to be challenging, encouraging and enjoyable. Questions? Contact Missions & Connections Director, Pastor Karen Evenson.
